Frank Allen
Frank Allen is a founding member and President of The Southern Maryland Active Recreation & Transportation Alliance. A New Englander by birth, Frank came to Southern Maryland to support Naval Air Station Patuxent River after serving in the Coast Guard. Like many before him, he found home in Southern Maryland. Now long retired from government service, you might say he never left his role as a public servant. When he’s not volunteering, you can find him walking, cycling, and rowing around the Western Shore.

Christina Allen
Christina is a founding member of The Southern Maryland Active Recreation & Transportation Alliance; she loves cycling and paddling and is an active member and advocate for Cycling Without Age. She is also an entrepreneur, a homesteading enthusiast with Allen’s Heirloom Homestead, and artist/owner of Corn Crib Studio & Publishing. Her book, “A Micro-Chip On My Shoulder; A True Story of a Little Poult”, won The Indie Award for Excellence in Children’s Books non-fiction.
